Hello! I'm Cyndi and I am excited to be the new owner of Unique. I look forward to carrying this long-standing business into the future. I owned my own hair salon back in my home state of Colorado and I feel up to the challenge of providing a space for stylists to create and build lasting relationships with their clients. 

When not at the salon, you can find me either working on our house (we did a total renovation and work on it in our spare time) or outside enjoying nature. I have a passion for hiking and backpacking. When not outside you can find me crocheting, coloring, reading, and I've recently gotten back into embroidery. 

I have been married to my amazing husband for 22 years and we have 3 incredible daughters. We also have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a leopard Gecko. 

My family loves visiting and exploring new places. Planning adventures is another of my favorite thing to do and we're always on the look out for our next one!

Hi, my name is Lynette Mills. I’ve been in the hair business for 25 years now. Many know this but for the ones that don’t here’s a bit about me. I have been at Unique the entire time I have done hair. That’s enough about my job. 

What about me? I am currently 50 years old, but don’t tell my body that. When I’m not working I enjoy anything outdoors. I love to mow, garden and everything that comes with it, hike, jog and walk. I’m crazy enough to admit I’ve done 24 half marathons and am currently training for my 2nd full Marathon. I have a passion for kayaking and swimming for fun recreation. I absolutely love the sun. I’m solar powered. I’m positive. I love summertime. 

In the winter enjoy doing my crafts such as crocheting, quilting, painting and any home improvement/diy I can do. And I love football season! My son and I are huge Kansas City Chiefs fans! I try to attend at least one game a year in person and take anyone who’ll go with me!! I believe in God and he has placed some pretty darn amazing people in my life. I am blessed beyond measure!!

I’ve lived in the Thayer Mammoth Spring area all my life. After graduating high school I went straight to cosmetology school, once I finished and passed my state boards I came to work at Unique in June of 2007. I enjoy my work because it lets me see to the needs of my clients while we visit, and I usually find myself in a caretaker type role which I enjoy! I’ve been very fortunate that Unique has always felt like a home away from home and my coworkers and clients have became more like family members. When I’m not working I enjoy spending my time kayaking, gardening, cooking, anything Halloween, helping animals how I can and recently canning!! I also love spending time with my family, especially my fur babies, and being Auntie Nik to my niece and nephew!

Hi! Bailey Weaver here! I’ve been at Unique since March of 2023 and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I’ve lived in the Thayer/Koshkonong area since I was 15 and my parents were both raised here! If I’m not doing hair or eating Mexican with my fellow stylists, I’m most likely with my dogs! The services I provide include cuts, colors, styles, eyebrow waxing, pedicures, and basic manicures. I’d love to have you in my chair!
